The Role
As the Media Coordinator at NYC Pride, I spearheaded the strategic management of organic social media platforms, engaging over 350,000 followers and significantly increasing our reach and engagement. I cultivated strategic partnerships, resulting in a 50% boost in digital media benefits and a doubling of brand visibility. Additionally, I worked closely with volunteers, overseeing volunteer engagement efforts to foster a cohesive and supportive community. My efforts led to a 245% increase in accounts reached and a 160% increase in engagement, showcasing my ability to create impactful and engaging content.

I also managed the production of promotional materials and collaborated with graphic designers to ensure our messaging was consistent and compelling across all platforms. My role involved not only content creation but also data-driven analysis and strategic planning to maximize our digital presence. Through resilience, creativity, and a deep commitment to NYC Pride’s mission, I successfully contributed to making our events and campaigns resonate powerfully within the community.

I was responsible for sourcing influencers within the LGBTQIA+ community to promote our events, including TEAZE, Youth Pride, The March, and Bliss Days. By partnering with these influencers, NYC Pride saw a significant boost in ticket sales for our hallmark parties, TEAZE and Bliss Days. As Digital Organizer at Make the Road New York I co-designed and executed integrated social media, email, and website strategies for the Fund Excluded Workers campaign. I was part of the team that successfully passed the $2.1 billion Excluded Workers Fund, the largest of its kind.
